By default, when you insert images and other illustration objects into your document, Word applies one of two forms of text wrapping: in line with text (for images and most other illustration objects) or in front of text (for shapes and 3D models). Not to belabor this but I see "Allow/Disallow" Border Selection in the dropdown. I don't see that as a major issue, but you might want to request an 'All Borders option be added to the menu to reduce this to a one step process. When I click on another cell (C7 in this case, making it the selected cell, and removing the 'selection' from the group of cells, this is the result:1. The segment is removed from the selection.Now that was 'incredibly easy' and 'intuitive' to me for the reason suggested in my earlier post—although I hadn't previously tried this in Numbers, the behaviour is similar to what I had experienced previously in Pages (and even earlier, if memory serves, in AppleWorks). Command-click on the (selected border) between D7 and D8. All of the border between rows 7 and 8 is selected.
